The tunicates collection (IT) of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (MNHN - Paris)

Description

The database lists all the specimens or lots (9 000) of Tunicates housed in the Paris Museum.
It is the largest or second largest tunicate collection in the World, based on the number of specimens and the number of types.
All the specimens are identified to species. The collection is principally the result of the active research of two people
(Claude Monniot & Francoise Monniot) over the course of forty years.
