Les Nacerdes ont le corps allongé, cylindrique mais peu convexe, variant du brun-orange au brun-noir. Leurs antennes sont longues, fines et atteignent le milieu des élytres. Les tibias antérieurs portent un seul éperon terminal. Le pronotum est fortement rétréci vers l’arrière et nettement plus étroit que les élytres. Nacerdes carniolica a le corps, les pattes et les antennes brun-orange avec les côtés du pronotum et des élytres noirs, ceux-ci pouvant être tout noirs.
Identification :
Assez difficile mais possible sur une bonne photo.
Confusions possibles :
L’espèce voisine N. melanura est plus robuste avec le pronotum unicolore. Nacerdes gracilis a également le pronotum toujours orange.
Périodes d’observation (adultes) :
juillet à septembre.
Biologie-éthologie :
Espèce saproxylique dont les larves se développent dans le bois mort d’essences variées. Les adultes sont nocturnes. Ils restent dissimulés dans les fourrés durant la journée. Ils sont attirés par les pièges alimentaires.
Biogéographie-écologie :
Europe occidentale. Largement répandue dans les boisements secs et chauds
