Diagnose : C. dichroa est une espèce de petite taille, courte et fortement convexe, avec un avant-corps brun et des élytres jaune paille.
Détermination : Difficulté élevée, l'examen de l'édéage est nécessaire.
Espèces proches : En Guyane, elle peut être confondue avec C. bicolor Castelnau. Les deux espèces ne peuvent être déterminées que par l'examen des paramères. Chez dichroa, ils sont parallèles avec l'apex triangulaire et tronqué. Chez bicolor ils sont rétrécis avant l'apex qui est incurvé vers l'extérieur.
Période d'observation : Juillet-octobre.
Biologie-éthologie : Biologie inconnue.
Biogéographie et écologie :Espèce nord amazonienne connue du Vénézuéla, du Guyana, du Surinam et du Brésil (Para).
