Corps cylindrique, trapu, glabre, la face supérieure est noire, brillante, avec des taches jaunes irrégulières sur le pronotum et les élytres, celles des élytres ne sont pas en relief. Les mésoépimères sont noirs. La tête, l'apex des antennes et le scutellum sont noirs. Les pattes sont jaunes, plus ou moins rembrunies. Le pronotum est très transverse, rétréci en arrondi vers l'avant, finement et peu densément ponctué. Les élytres sont densément couverts de points moyens désordonnés. Les antennes sont fines et atteignent le milieu des élytres chez le mâle, leur base chez la femelle.
