Megachile concinna est une petite abeille solitaire discrète. Les deux sexes ont un abdomen annelé jaune-orangé et un thorax noirâtre. La tête est couverte de poils jaunes.

Biologie-éthologie
Comme beaucoup de Mégachiles, Megachile concinna est une abeille solitaire qui effectue des nids en forme de cigares à partir de morceaux de feuilles fraîches. Elle fabrique des cellules dans laquelle elle accumule des réserves de pollen pour une larve. Peu commune, seules trois espèces de fleurs appartenant à la famille des Asteraceae ont été identifiées comme nourricières (Meurgey 2016).
Biogéographie et écologie
Originaire du vieux-continent, l'espèce a été introduite dans les Antilles et est présente dans toute la Caraïbe. Elle est rare en Guadeloupe. Non indigène, l'espèce a été classée NA sur la liste rouge Guadeloupe.
