The herbarium consists of approximately 4000 species of
flowering plants and 450 species of bryophytes (for 1200 samples).
There are over 600 species collected in Algeria, especially Durando GL
between 1851 and 1861 (Poaceae, Asteraceae, Brassicaceae,...),
other collections were made in France between 1850 and 1980.
