Description

Humid and meso-hygrophile heaths of semipeaty gley podzols of eastern Britanny, Normandy, the southern Paris Basin, the Morvan, extending very locally to England in southern Dorset, dominated by Erica tetralix or Erica ciliaris, generally with Ulex minor, accompanied by Calluna vulgaris, Genista anglica, Salix repens, Ulex europaeus, Molinia caerulea, Scirpus cespitosus, Danthonia decumbens, Carex panicea, Polygala serpyllifolia, Potentilla erecta, Drosera rotundifolia, Lobelia urens, Carum verticillatum, Scorzonera humilis, Pedicularis sylvatica, Ajuga occidentalis, Sphagnum compactum, Cladonia spp.
