Description

Open or almost closed formations dominated by Spergularia media (Spergularia marginata) or Spergularia marina (Spergularia salina), colonizing small depressions inundated or humid in late spring, dessicated, often with salt efflorescences in summer, associated with the salt steppes and saltmarshes (unit 15.A) of Eurasia, in particular in the eastern Pannonic and western Pontic regions.
