Description

Vegetated cliffs of the nemoral middle Atlantic, the English Channel, the Irish Sea and the North Sea, along the coasts of Iberia, France, Ireland, England, Wales, southern Scotland and Helgoland, colonized by relatively thermophile communities variously formed by Crithmum maritimum, Armeria maritima, Armeria pubigera, Limonium occidentale, Limonium ovalifolium, Brassica oleracea ssp. oleracea, Silene vulgaris ssp. maritima, Plantago maritima, Festuca rubra ssp. pruinosa, Daucus carota ssp. gummifer, Daucus carota ssp. gadecaei, Matricaria maritima, Asplenium marinum, Spergularia rupicola, Inula crithmoides, Sedum anglicum, Lavatera arborea, Frankenia laevis, Anthyllis vulneraria ssp. corbierei, Anthyllis vulneraria ssp. iberica, Dactylis glomerata ssp. marina.
