Description

Rare aquatic formations of Atlantic and sub-Atlantic Palaearctic dystrophic to mesotrophic, basic to mildly acid, rich fen, transition mire and heath pools, dominated by the rooted, floating-leaved Sparganium minimum, usually accompanied by Utricularia intermedia, sometimes by Potamogeton polygonifolius, Potamogeton gramineus, Juncus bulbosus, Littorella uniflora.
