Description

Lawns of Palaearctic bogs dominated by Eriophorum vaginatum associated with Sphagnum recurvum, often highly prevalent in moderately wet bogs of nemoral Central Europe and Hercynian Western Europe. In boreal Europe, Sphagnum recurvum communities are mostly limited to fens.
