Description

Submerged beds of Ruppia maritima, Ruppia cirrhosa, Zannichellia pedicellata, Potamogeton pectinatus, Chara spp., Tolypella nidifica of sea inlets, estuaries, permanent pools of mud or sand flats, and coastal lagoons of the temperate and boreal coasts of the temperate and low Arctic North Atlantic, from Iceland and nortwestern Norway to central Portugal, of the North Sea, the English Channel, the Irish Sea, from northern Iceland and nortwestern Norway in the north, south to central Portugal.
