Descriptif officiel

Shallow sand and muddy sand in areas of low or reduced, although relatively stable salinity (may vary annually), with largely ephemeral faunal communities. The species are often similar to that found in A5.31 and are characterised by Arenicola marina with other species, including mysids, tubificoid and enchytraeid oligochaetes, Corophium volutator, Hediste diversicolor, Pygospio elegans, Hydrobia ulvae and Cerastoderma glaucum, which commonly occur in lagoons. Filamentous green algae such as Chaetomorpha linum may also be present. In some examples of this biotope the polychaete Fabricia sabella may be super-abundant and the isopod Sphaeroma hookeri common.

Descriptif en français

Sable et sable vaseux en eau peu profonde, en milieu à salinité faible ou réduite mais relativement stable (variations annuelles possibles), avec une faune en grande partie éphémère. Les espèces sont souvent voisines de celles que l’on trouve dans l’habitat A5.31. La faune est caractérisée par Arenicola marina avec d’autres espèces, dont des oligochètes tubificidés et enchytraeidés, des mysidacés, Corophium volutator, Hediste diversicolor, Pygospio elegans, Peringia ulvae (anciennement Hydrobia ulvae) et Cerastoderma glaucum, souvent présents dans les lagunes. Des algues vertes filamenteuses telles que Chaetomorpha linum peuvent également être présentes. Dans certaines occurrences de cet habitat, le polychète Fabricia sabella peut être surabondant, et l’isopode Lekanesphaera hookeri commun.
