Description

Forests of Quercus robur, Fraxinus excelsior and Carpinus betulus of valley bottoms and cool, damp lower slopes of southwestern France, south to the Pyrenean piedmont, with Sorbus torminalis, Ruscus aculeatus and many thermocline, acidocline and Mediterraneo-Atlantic species.
