In order to facilitate the management of data on natural habitats and vegetation in nature information systems, PatriNat (OFB-MNHN-CNRS-IRD) is making the HabRef national habitat repository available in computerised form. Each typology contained in HabRef can also be downloaded separately, as can each of the correspondence tables.
HabRef contains the titles, codes and unique identifiers (CD_HAB) of the units of each typology, as well as additional information provided by reference documents, such as descriptions. This repository also contains the presence status of each unit in the French territories, the species that are linked to them, and the correspondences between typologies. HabRef is downloadable as a Zip file.
