Description

Non-maritime woods dominated by Juniperus oxycedrus ssp. oxycedrus. Most arborescent formations of Juniperus oxycedrus are arborescent matorrals, listed under unit 32.131. A few may, however, qualify as woodland, as, for instance, those of Monte Limbara in Sardinia, of Peloponnese mountains, in particular the Kilini, and of interior slopes of Anatolian mountains.
