Classification des habitats du Paléarctique (2001)

Description

Restricted Picea abies forests of sub-alpine affinities of the Jura, comprising truly sub-alpine formations of the Haut-Jura, well developed but of small extent because of relatively low altitude and competition with Pinus uncinata formations, tall herb spruce forests as well as cold station or "ice cellar" formations similar to those of the northern outer Alps.
