Description

Communities rich in small annuals, often generating an abundant ephemeral spring bloom, with Malcolmia lacera, Malcolmia ramosissima, Evax asterisciflora, Evax lusitanica, Anthyllis hamosa, Linaria pedunculata, of deep sands in dry interdunal depressions of the Mediterranean coasts of Iberia, southern France, Italy, the Maghreb and of the Atlantic coasts of southern Iberia and northern northwest Africa. They are coastal dune representatives of unit 35.4.
