Description

Moss snow-patches of the Alps, the Pyrenees, the Carpathians, the Dinarides, the Rhodopides (Rila) and the Pelagonides, occupying areas free from snow for less than two months, with the mosses Polytrichum sexangulare, Polytrichum juniperinum, Pohlia commutata, Kiaeria falcata (Dicranum falcatum), the liverwort Anthelia juratzkana or sometimes lichens.
