Description

Relict communities of arctic-continental distribution mostly characteristic of relatively oligotrophic acid ponds surrounded by, or adjacent to, bogs or woods, dominated by small-leaved Nuphar spp., mostly Nuphar pumila or Nuphar intermedia, often accompanied by Potamogeton natans.
