Commentaires

Syagrus amara is sometimes called Rhyticocos amara. This palm occurs on Montserrat, Guadeloupe, Dominica, St. Lucia, and Martinique; the community might also occur on other islands than Martinique. This community is restricted to small areas at mid-elevations on north-facing slopes in northern Martinique.
