Description

Sea-cliffs composed of relatively soft, unconsolidated or incompact mineral particle deposits, carved by wind and wave action, of the Palaearctic region. They often support a vegetation of dune shrubs (units 16.25, 16.26, 16.27), notably, Hippophae rhamnoides, Salix arenaria, Sorbus aucuparia.
