Remarques

cle01 : The original concept of the Dicranelletea cerviculatae von Hübschmann 1957, containing peat-colonizing syntaxa, is a small portion of the Cladonio-Lepidozietea as the class is understood today. The well-established name Cladonio digitatae-Lepidozietea reptantis Ježek et Vondráček 1962, is proposed here for conservation against the older name Dicranelletea cerviculatae von Hübschmann 1957 and against the name Physcomitrelletea patentis von Hübschmann 1957. The latter class was described to accommodate only one association and remained infrequently used in literature. (HB).
