Neither of the names are misleading, but the name Hypogymnietea physodis Follmann 1974 is already well-established in the licheno-sociological literature and therefore we propose the conservation of the Hypogymnietea physodis Follmann 1974 against the name Usneetea Tomaselli et De Micheli 1952, as well as against the name Alectorietea Hadač 1962.
