Description

Shrubby formations of the western Mediterranean basin, usually relatively closed and tall, dominated by Quercus coccifera with no, or little, Pistacia lentiscus or other thermo-Mediterranean shrubs, very widespread in the meso-Mediterranean zone of the Iberian peninsula and southern France.
