Description

Fen communities of calcareous wet dune slacks of northern France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the North Sea coast of Germany dominated by sedges, in particular, Carex trinervis, Carex scandinavica, or by Juncus anceps, with no or little Schoenus nigricans and with, among a number of characteristic accompaniers, Juncus subnodulosus, Parnassia palustris, Gentianella amarella, Herminium monorchis, Epipactis palustris.
