Description

Communities of Palaearctic waters dominated by water starworts (Callitriche), water crowfoots (Ranunculus spp., subgenus Batrachium) or water violet (Hottonia palustris), characteristic mostly of shallow waters with fluctuating water levels, susceptible to occasional drying.
