Description

Schoenus nigricans-dominated or -rich communities of inland rich fens of Atlantic and sub-Atlantic nemoral continental Europe, recorded from France, in particular from the Perche, the Vexin, the Paris basin, the Valois, the Champagne, the Tonnerrois, the Brenne, the Aisne, from central and southeastern Belgium, from Schleswig-Holstein. They are everywhere very rare and threatened, extinct in Belgium, near to extinction in Schleswig-Holstein.
