Description

Bog hollows dominated by Sphagnum auriculatum, characteristic of Atlantic regions, in particular, of the British Isles, western Scandinavia, Lower Saxony, also recorded from the Alps; associates include Sphagnum subsecundum ssp. inundatum and the bright orange-yellow Sphagnum pulchrum.
