Description

Bog hollows dominated by Sphagnum balticum, characteristic of subcontinental and continental regions of the boreal western Palaearctic, from northeastern Sweden and Finland to western Siberia, and of Baltic regions; associates include Sphagnum lindbergii, Sphagnum majus, Sphagnum papillosum, Sphagnum magellanicum.
