Contributing – transmitting data to INPN

Any organization or person can contribute to the SINP by submitting their observation data. The modalities of exchange between the SINP platforms and the rules for data dissemination by the latter are governed by a national protocol. SINP framework.

The regional platforms are the privileged entry points in the SINP for data from regional actors. The INPN will be privileged by national actors.


For regional producers

Regional producers are persons or structures whose geographical area of exploration is limited to a region.

Regional platforms are the preferred entry points.

For more information on the regional platforms, you can consult the SINP website or contact the environment department of your DREAL/DEAL/DRIEE.


For national producers

Are conceived as national producers, people or structures whose geographical area of ??prospecting is located in several regions.

The INPN will be privileged as the point of entry into the SINP.

Data can be transmitted through the use of standardized files.

Metadata (information describing the context of data acquisition) must be associated with the transmission of data to ensure their traceability and allow appropriate use. Metadata can be transmitted in standardized files or through the use of the dedicated metadata management application1.
