INPN Programs Overview

The INPN disseminates information from many national programs having their own methodologies, validation and dissemination logics. These programs may be can be gathered into three large groups and questioned specifically.

Species

• the national taxonomic repository (TaxRef )
• the Knowledge base « Status »
• Campanule : Repository of naturalistic data acquisition protocols, methods and techniques
• dissemination of national inventories data
• Species observation data : Species observation data are shared and disseminated within the SINP.

Habitats

• the repository of habitats and vegetations (Habref)
• CarHab : CarHab is a national cartographic modeling program for natural and semi-natural habitats in France.
• Habitats observation data : Habitats observation data are shared and disseminated as part of the SINP.
• National Wetland Mapping : Cartographic modeling of wetlands in metropolitan France.

Space

• French protected areas : dissemination of descriptive and cartographic data
• Natura 2000 : dissemination of descriptive and cartographic data
• ZNIEFF : dissemination of descriptive and cartographic data
• Trame verte et bleue : base nationale des données standardisées des Schémas régionaux de cohérence écologique
• National Inventory of Natural Heritage (INPG) : dissemination of descriptive and cartographic data (pending)
